Clinical and aesthetic dermatology · medical direction

Skin isn't treatedfrom the outside. It's treated in layers.

A dermatology consultation with dermoscopy before any aesthetic treatment. First we diagnose, then we decide.

Working depth

0.1 mm

Epidermis

Epidermis0.1 mm
Papillary dermis0.6 mm
Reticular dermis2.0 mm
Hypodermis4.0 mm

Every treatment has a depth. Knowing which one — and staying there — is the difference between dermatology and device-driven aesthetics.

0.1 mm · What you can see

Spots, texture, pores, flaking. This is where superficial peels and pulsed light work. It's the layer that responds fastest — and the one that slips back fastest if it isn't cared for at home.

0.6 mm · Where collagen lives

Fine lines, early laxity, acne scars. Fractional radiofrequency and microneedling work at this depth. Results take weeks because you're asking the body to build new tissue.

2.0 mm · The structure

This is what holds the shape of the face. Focused ultrasound and collagen inducers. It's medical territory: this depth demands knowing vascular anatomy, not just the device.

4.0 mm · What we don't touch without a reason

Fat and vessels. Very few aesthetic treatments should reach this far, and none without a prior diagnosis. When someone promises results at this depth without examining you, be wary.

Order matters

Skin first.Then, if appropriate,aesthetics.

Every first visit is a dermatology consultation with dermoscopy. We look at your whole skin, not just what worries you. Sometimes it leads to an aesthetic treatment; sometimes to a referral, and sometimes to finding out you need nothing.

Services

What we doand for whom.

01

Skin health

Before any aesthetic treatment there's a consultation that looks at your whole skin. Sometimes it leads to a plan and sometimes to a discharge.

  • Skin consultation

For anyone who wants to know what they have before deciding what to do.

    30 min

  • Mole check

For an annual check or when something has changed in shape or color.

    40 minAnnual

  • Body map

For skin with many moles that should be followed over time.

    60 minAnnual

02

Acne and its marks

Two different problems on two different timelines: first the breakout is calmed, then what it left behind is treated.

  • Active acne protocol

For breakouts that don't respond to pharmacy products.

    Monthly follow-up

  • Peel for scarring

For marks and texture once the acne is under control.

    45 min4-6 sessions

  • Microneedling

For depressed scars and enlarged pores.

    70 min3-4 sessions

  • Laser for scars

For pronounced texture that doesn't improve with the above.

    50 min3 sessions

03

Aesthetics with judgment

Aesthetics exist here, but they come after the diagnosis. If it isn't indicated, we say so and don't do it.

  • Biostimulation

For skin density and quality, not for changing your features.

    50 min2-3 sessions

  • Fractional radiofrequency

For firmness when laxity is early.

    60 min4 sessions

  • Focused ultrasound

To support facial contour once a year.

    90 minAnnual

  • Botulinum toxin

For expression lines, with a follow-up review included.

    30 minReview at 15 days

04

Sensitive skin

Rosacea, dermatitis and a damaged barrier. What works least here is piling on active products.

  • Rosacea protocol

For persistent redness and reactive skin.

    Monthly follow-up

  • Skin barrier

For skin that has reacted to everything for months.

    30 min

  • Vascular laser

For visible capillaries that don't go away with cosmetics.

    30 min3-5 sessions

  • Second opinion

To review a diagnosis or a treatment done elsewhere.

    45 min

It all starts with a skin consultation. Whatever comes next is decided there, with the indication already made and in writing.

“I went in for some spots and the doctor first sent me to check a mole I hadn't even looked at. It turned out to be nothing, but the fact that he looked beyond what I asked for won me over as a patient.”

“I'd had acne for years and protocols that didn't work. Here they explained why, with my skin in front of them and no rush. Six months later it's a different face.”

“I asked for a specific treatment I'd seen on social media and they told me it wasn't indicated in my case. They saved me 700 euros. That's why I keep coming back.”

Thirty minutesand your whole skin, not just what worries you.

01

History

Background, phototype, what you use at home and what you've tried before.

02

Dermoscopy

A full-skin examination, including the moles you didn't come in to show us.

03

Diagnosis

What's pathology, what's aesthetics and what needs nothing. We tell you just that clearly.

04

Plan or discharge

If there's an indication, a written plan. If not, you leave with no treatment and no extra cost.

General information for educational purposes. It does not replace a medical consultation or allow self-diagnosis. The treatments described require individual medical indication. Licensed healthcare center.

When to book without waiting

Four signs thataren't about aesthetics.

A mole that changes

In shape, color or size over months. Don't wait for the annual check.

A wound that won't close

More than four weeks without healing deserves a dermatologist's look.

Persistent itching with no cause

Especially if it's nocturnal and widespread.

New spots after 40

Most are benign. The few that aren't are the reason to check them.

This information is for guidance only and doesn't replace a consultation. If in doubt, the right thing is to have a dermatologist look at it — here or wherever you prefer.

Before you come

What's worthknowing.

Are you an aesthetic clinic or a dermatology practice?+

Both, and in that order. It all starts with a dermatology consultation: first the skin is diagnosed, then we decide whether an aesthetic treatment is indicated. We don't work the other way around.

Why is the consultation paid when it's free elsewhere?+

Because it's a real medical consultation, with dermoscopy and a diagnosis, not a sales session. If a treatment comes out of it, the fee is deducted from the first session.

Can you tell me I don't need anything?+

It happens often and it's part of the job. If what worries you has no treatment indication, we'll tell you and explain why, even if it means we bill nothing that day.

Do you work with health insurance?+

The clinical dermatology side, yes, with several insurers. Aesthetics isn't covered by any insurance — be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise.

How long until I see results?+

It depends on the depth being treated. The epidermis responds in days; dermal collagen takes six to twelve weeks because new tissue has to be built. We give you ranges, not dates.
